The government yesterday announced the second stage of its economic plan to reduce the economic impact of the coronavirus.
Support for workers and households:
- Coronavirus supplement of $550 p/fortnight for six months
- Payments to support households of an additional $750 p/fortnight for social security & veteran income support recipients & eligible concession cardholders
- Early release of superannuation up to $10K in 2019-2020 and further $10K in 2020-2021
- Boosting cash-flow for employers with up to $100K to eligible employing businesses with a minimum payment of $20K
